JacksonHealth Medicare HMO Plans were created by the JMH Health Plan and the Jackson Health System to better serve the Medicare community in Miami-Dade County. For more than 90 years, the Jackson Health System has been a cornerstone of the South Florida community, providing comprehensive medical care to all who need it. The Jackson Health System is an internationally recognized academic medical system offering services ranging from routine health care to rare, life-saving procedures.

Jackson Health System consists of its centerpiece, Jackson Memorial Hospital; six primary care centers and one primary care mobile van; four specialty care centers; 17 school-based clinics; two long-term care nursing facilities; Holtz Children’s Hospital; Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital; Jackson North Medical Center; Jackson South Community Hospital; and a network of mental health facilities including Jackson Mental Health Hospital. Jackson Health System is governed by the Public Health Trust, a dedicated team of citizen volunteers acting on behalf of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners.
